Call your pharmacy ⚠️
Wait at least 1 hour before calling, but we suggest waiting 3-4 hours.
This gives the pharmacy time to receive, review, and order your medication.
Even if you receive automated updates via text, phone, or pharmacy app, still call to check on your prescription.
The pharmacy's automated systems may not always provide accurate information about your prescription status especially for ADHD medications, which require manual review by a pharmacist.
We recommend speaking directly with a pharmacist to ensure you're getting the most reliable updates. Doing so can help resolve any issues before you make a trip to the pharmacy, saving you time and frustration.
Medication unavailable?
When speaking directly with a pharmacist, be sure to ask:
When they expect the medication to be back in stock or how long it might take to order.
If any other dosages of the same medication are available as a substitute.
If there is a name brand or generic alternative for the same medication that might be in stock or can be ordered sooner.
If your pharmacy is out of stock and you confirmed the above:
👉Your best option is to choose a nearby pharmacy where we can resend your prescription. Let us know the name + zip code of the new pharmacy.
👉Please note: Most pharmacies do not provide accurate stock information over the phone without an active prescription on file at their location. For that reason, we do not recommend cold-calling pharmacies if you do not have a prescription at their location! Only after it's in their system will they be able to provide you with a more accurate update on medication availability and the possibility of filling your prescription.
👉If you have insurance and are not already using their in-house mail order pharmacy, we recommend calling your insurance to confirm if it’s available to you for your ADHD medication. This is a great option, especially if you're interested in having your medication delivered to your home.
👉 Resends requested after 30 days may require a new fee so be sure to let us know ASAP if you run into any issues or delays so we can help.
