About Dr. Osman

Dr. Osman has spent over 20 years in clinical practice, much of it treating adults with ADHD, substance use disorders, and co-occurring neurodevelopmental conditions. He completed psychiatry residency training at Austin State Hospital in Texas and at Varrene Jarcy Hospital in France, and he is board certified in both psychiatry and addiction medicine.

At Millennium Medical Associates he works closely with our psychiatric nurse practitioners, who evaluate and treat patients under his oversight. His addiction medicine background informs how the practice approaches controlled substance prescribing: careful diagnostic work, conservative medication management, and treating patients as individuals rather than case files.

How care works under Dr. Osman

We want every patient to get a careful answer, so the initial evaluation runs 90 minutes. Your practitioner goes through your history and symptoms with you, uses a structured interview, and considers what else could explain what you're experiencing. Sometimes the answer is that ADHD isn't the diagnosis, and we'll tell you that plainly.

If treatment is appropriate, medication is prescribed and monitored under a clear protocol. That includes checking CURES, California's prescription database, before every prescription, blood pressure monitoring as part of ongoing treatment, and no auto-refills. Each prescription is a decision your practitioner makes at a follow-up visit.

Because the same practitioner follows your care from evaluation through ongoing treatment, and Dr. Osman reviews the practice's prescribing standards, care stays consistent across the team.
